It’s about making strange, mysterious, and complicated things become things we understand. There’s still lots more that we don’t understand about our world and the whole universe, but that’s where scientists come in. They are always asking questions and then finding the answers. So science isn’t really strange at all! It’s just curious people finding out about everything!
Science may seem like it’s a strange thing — complicated, even a mystery. But really, science is all about finding out about nature and how things work, the reasons behind every-day things. So it’s more about questions and answers than anything. How? Where? Why?

This article makes me think of Albert Einstein and all of the things he has done. I have never asked a question and got the answer by myself (i had to ask a teacher.) I made strange, mysterious, complicated easier by 1.always asking a teacher 2. always asking my parents 3. And always listening to what a teacher says about a topic or when my parents say something about a topic.

This article makes me think of Albert Einstein and all of the things he has done. I have never asked myself a question and got it correct. I made strange, mysterious, and complicated things easier by always asking a teacher and listening to what a teacher says about a topic or when my parents say something about a topic. You should always ask questions.

This article reminds me of Benjamin Franklin because when he was struck by lightning he did not know what to do next. He asked so many questions because science is all about asking questions. Whenever he asked questions he always had to figure them out. Whenever I have trouble figuring out problems I always ask questions which always leads to the solution. In some ways of asking questions you can't get answer by yourself but you can get it by asking someone else.

That is really interesting connecting Ben Franklin asking questions and being a scientist. Yes, he did ask a lot of questions that led to his discoveries of many really important things we still use today. One of may favorite question that he asked was "How do I put out the fire that was caused by me being struck by lightning." Is there anyone else that you can think of that asked questions too?

I can think of the brothers that created the plane, I forgot their names......oh its Wilbur and Orville Wright. They asked a lot of questions to themselves, (probably how to fly it) but if you think about it, Every scientist asks questions! Also I like the joke :). I agree with you Rylie because I did read a book about Ben Franklin. I think he was a good inventor because he would always try and he would always fail but then he would try again. He also said " early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy and wealthy and wise". Good job on this article Rylie really good job.

This reminds me about Ancient Egypt. There are so many things that you can learn and find out. You can ask crazy questions and hopefully someday you will get the answer.Lots of people ask Questions to find out about ancient civilization.Everything is SCIENCE. All the questions that we ask is science.

This article makes me think of Benjamin Franklin because I read this book about him that when he got struck by lightning he asked a bunch of questions because he forgot stuff. Also you ask a lot of questions in science but then you always come back and figure them out. That is what scientists do to learn more about the history. I to always ask my self questions because I do no know every thing but I always find my way and I figure out the questions because that is what scientists are for.

This reminds me of a book I read. This boy, George found out that his neighbor has a key to the Universe. He then soon became a scientist. He didn't understand anything at first so he started asking questions and now he understands almost everything. Science is all about asking questions and finding out the answers. It's also about you learning your mistakes and correcting them. No one knows everything about the universe. But ask questions because you might get an answer that will help you.

This article reminds me of Thomas Edison because he didn't give up on making the lightbulb. He just kept on going and one of the sayings that he said is: I didn't fail I just found 10,000 ways that don't work. When i'm in a situation like him I always think to myself and ask questions. There are lots of questions and not so many answers but all you have to do is keep trying and be like Thomas Edison.

The article makes me think of Thomas Edison, and he said " I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." Which means that science involves failures and should not give up. Also when you make mistakes it narrows the question until the answer starts to show the answer.

I think it was awesome of you thinking about Thomas Edison. When Edison found 10,000 ways that did not work and he kept trying was awesome. I think this is saying that even though something is hard we should keep on trying. Like if I have trouble with a question I should try and solve it. I think a few ways on solving the problem could be going to a teacher, family member, looking it up on Google, try to find it on Youtube, and many more options. 9/15/2016 05:16:56 pm
I think that the way you thought of Thomas Edison was a great way to show of what the article meant to you. It's also a great way to show that science means to never give up, and never settle on one idea.

This article reminds me of a time when I was mini golfing with my dad and suddenly I saw a caterpillar climbing up my shirt. When I first noticed it I freaked out a little which made the caterpillar put, what I thought was poison, on my shirt. I thought it was poison because it made my skin itch for a few days. After my family did a little research we found out that it was not poison it was just something that specific kind of caterpillar uses to protect itself from predators. It does not do anything too serious to a person it just makes them really itchy. Even today I still wonder how that caterpillar got all the way up my shirt without me noticing.

This remind's me of Thomas Edison because he never gave up and he kept trying until he made the lightbulb. I think science is an everyday study it involves a lot of things that we do at school such as math, and reading. Science is a mystery because like Edison he found a way to make a lightbulb.

This article reminds me of Benjamin Franklin. How Franklin was brave enough to go out in a dangerous storm to try out his experiment with a key and a kite! I think science is also about trying something new. I also think science is about asking yourself questions and being brave to try finding the answer to your questions.

I also like Thomas Edison. When one teacher taught me about Thomas Edison I learned about how the lightbulb was created. It was amazing. If the lightbulb wasn't created, I wonder how we would get our light source except from flashlights, Cell phones, and the sun and moon light.

This article reminds me of crimes because a crime is basically an unsolved mystery and so is science, an unsolved mystery. Science is a great subject and it is also a way to solve a mystery to the world, and solving mysteries is a good thing, either if it's from solving how to read a book or solving how to build new technology. So science can be anywhere around us, like a mystery.

I think that science is one of those things that are VERY important, for example learning how to write, how to READ!!! I think science is very important for younger children, and everyone should learn! It solves everything, it helps you with reading spelling math and much more! I love science because it's everywhere! Its all around us, the earth the animals.......Life!

This reminds me of Thomas Edison because he never gave up he failed so many times but he kept trying. Thomas Edison made lots of things like the telegraph the phonograph and most importantly the light bulb. Thomas Edison has a lot of questions he wanted to answer. But Thomas Edison also had Tela by his side they were very good friends. His greatest inventions was the light bulb it took him 10,000 attempts to make the light bulb to work! So keep trying and do your best.

In fact crime is science! You have to find DNA to solve a crime and make tests and experiments! Its really cool how one small thing can connect to another just by finding its connections.

One time I was working on a project for my mom and I need to make brown with the colors I have. So I tried a few different way and got a blue and green color. Then I ask my family members. They did not know, so I searched it online. I tried to mixed the color in different ways but it did not work so I went to Youtube and they told me that I can just paint it when I am done with my project! Later I finished my project and then painted my project brown and I was done. That made me feel like a artist and scientist at the same time!

He flew a kite during a thunderstorm and tied a key to the end. And he got electrified and he figured out how electricity was made.

When I first studied science I asked a lot of questions and thought how the scientists discover the things in the universe and make them work, like the Wright Brothers, I imagine them having questions after questions until they found the solution and makes the very first airplane fly!

I agree. Science isn't that hard, it's actually just trying to simplify things that don't make sense, so that they do make sense! I like the way it is stated here, though. How it may seem strange, but it's really just curious people finding out about everything. I think that science seems complicated to many people because they don't understand it yet. Once you understand that it's actually just people trying to find out the answers to things you can't comprehend, it's a lot less hard to understand.
