It’s about making strange, mysterious, and complicated things become things we understand. There’s still lots more that we don’t understand about our world and the whole universe, but that’s where scientists come in. They are always asking questions and then finding the answers. So science isn’t really strange at all! It’s just curious people finding out about everything!
Science may seem like it’s a strange thing — complicated, even a mystery. But really, science is all about finding out about nature and how things work, the reasons behind every-day things. So it’s more about questions and answers than anything. How? Where? Why?

This is like what does science means to you is. It is also how do you feel about science. It also makes me interested how science was created.

Hi Justin!! You are right. This is what science means to you because what would've happen if there were no scientist in the world. Would it be blank? would there be no fun in the world? Being inspired will change your life!! Good job with this!!

This passage makes me think how science was created. It also makes me think about what it means.

Science doesn't have to be about interesting or mystery stuff like figuring out which part of the family tree does the pink dolphin belong to. It can be the basic things like studying rocks and metals and how old they are. It could also be studying the migration of butterflies and how we live now. Science is everywhere.

Hey Nicky...I like how you said that science isn't all about finding out mysteries its also about finding out the simple stuff. For example finding out rocks and stones, or where the pink dolphin belongs to? So many questions and so many answers. I like how you said that.

In life we fail. But do you think J. Robert Oppenheimer just gave up? No! Oppenheimer built the bombs that ended World War ll.Oppenheimer failed making the bombs many times, but he just kept trying. And that is what science is all about. If you fall you get back up.

Hey Isaac... I really liked what you wrote, it was very thoughtful and inspiring. It's really cool how J. Robert Oppenheimer never gave up and just kept working hard and trying even if he failed.

I think that this is the meaning of science. This article is also about how science works. I also think that it is about the scientists. But, the main idea is about the entire science history and how it became science.

I agree that scientists have a certain way of thinking about stuff and asking questions. They also solve problems and talk about how they solved it.

Have you ever looked at something, but couldn't write it down because you didn't know how it works? Francis Bacon discovered the scientific method. It was a way for people to gather up information and data from experiments and observations. Science is about learning what does what and never giving up.

Hi Trisha... Francis Bacon was a really smart person who knew he had to come up with a way to be able to answer his many questions. He was kind of like Steve Jobs who knew he wanted to help people communicate around the world easily but didn't know how. He got a bunch of smart people together, started asking questions that led to more questions and soon, was able to come up with a way to make something really complicated, easy. That would have been his iPhone that is used around the world today.

I think science is about creating new things and finding out things, and never to give up. Scientist try and try but once again they always fail. Science is also all about making mistakes, if you get something on the first try ( which I don't think that happened) then the task you just solved was to easy for you and you need to try a different one. This is what I think science is.

Hey Alex! This response was really inspiring to me, it told me that it's okay to fail and make mistakes, so you just have to bring yourself up again, keep trying and to never give up!

Sometimes people fail and give up. But Isaac Newton never gave up, he worked hard and asked a lot of questions that he answered. He created the first practical reflecting telescope and developed a color theory after observing that prisms split white light into visible spectrum colors. He also showed that the motion of objects on Earth are governed by the same physical laws.

Hey Alex!! Your blog is right. Nobody's perfect and we all fail in life. If we dont fail, then whats the point of learning things and you already know it. Good job with this blog Alex!!

A lot of scientist have travel working together but find out a way. This reminds me of White Pines Team Building where everyone had to go through the web and if you wake the spider than everyone has to go back. Scientist probably do that everytime they go through something and they go back .

This reminds me of our core classes when we read a story about a man who kept persevering. This article really talks about persevering even when it gets rough. In science the 3 P's are really important and I like how this article talks about how J. Oppenheimer really kept trying.
